Sarcocca

Botanical Name: SARCOCCA HUMILIS

Sarcocca is a very dense and low-growing shrub. The evergreen leaves are shiny and of darkish green leathery appearance while the flowers are very small creamy-white.

The bonus of this plant, though, is its heady, almost overpowering scent, especially noticeable on a sunny winter’s day. And the berries, too, very shiny black berries that last from one season until the next.
