Lacecap Hydrangea

A magnificent cool blue in less acid soils makes this a wise choice. Large vigorous plants produce lace cap flowers with sea blue sterile ring and a violet center of fertile blossoms. In more alkaline soils outer ring is pink or lilac. Long floral display peaks in June.

Rounded form is ideal for foundation planting or as high contrast dark green background shrub for perennials. Plant in rich, well drained, evenly moist soil.
