Astilbe ‘Amethyst’

The Astilbe Amethyst a spring planted tuber, can fill a garden space with beautiful lavender color. The tall stems are topped with 8 to 12 inch plumes that are full of tiny flowers. The flowers are contrasted nicely by the glossy green foliage. They are great for a shady area that needs color.

A mid season bloomer with deep lilac plumes, this astilbe earns a place along the back of a bed or border. Tall, with spires that reach almost 3 feet, Amethyst is a full-leafed variety that fills a space nicely and never looks sparse.
